A small team, and the honest limits of that
Origin Apps is a small team led by Antony Gray. We build the thing, and you talk directly to the people doing it.
Antony started in telephone sales — a better lesson in how businesses actually work than any technical job since. Then healthcare technology at the NHS, where the lesson was blunt: if people cannot use a thing without thinking about it, they will not use it.
Across 100+ projects — WordPress sites for local trades, SaaS platforms for international companies, and most things in between — the tooling changed enough that a small, experienced team could combine that experience with AI and deliver more than the same team could before. That's not a slogan. It's a claim we wanted to test before making it to a client.
So we built Kev-AI to prove it: the product, the conversation design, the automation, the website, the content engine. It runs live at kev-ai.co. If the argument were wrong, that's where it would have fallen over.
How we work
You talk to us
No account manager, no project coordinator, no round trip. Decisions get made in the conversation rather than three days later.
The real process first
Before anything is built we map how the work actually happens today, including the spreadsheet someone maintains by hand. Automation built against a tidy version of the business gets abandoned.
Nothing ships without your yes
You approve behaviour before it goes live, and there is a record of what ran and when. Control is a feature, not a limitation.
You own it
Source code, deployments and accounts in your name. If you stop working with us, nothing is held hostage.
What we will not do
- Guarantee search rankings, review counts or revenue — anyone who does is guessing or lying
- Publish a number a client cannot evidence
- Take on more than the team can deliver properly and pretend otherwise
- Put a layer of people between you and the people doing the work
